Pastor
Joshua Nolt
Monday and Tuesday 7pm
Joshua Nolt is a pastor and potter. He has served as the pastor of Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church since 2010, and took his first try at the pottery wheel in 2017. Clay is a helpful metaphor in describing his approach to pastoral ministry and faith formation. Clay begins with the dirt of the earth - and our experience of God begins with the everyday dirt of what happens in our lives. Joshua's desire is to create spaces for others to recognize and receive the presence and work of God through the everyday experiences - the dirt - of life. He earned his doctoral degree in 2021 from Portland Seminary, focusing his writing on exploring different stages of faith development. He and his wife, Ruby, have been married since 2000. They reside in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with their three teenage children, Conner, Chloe, and Christian.
