MHC for 2020 has been moved from Ludlow Falls Campgrounds and relocated to an online experience.
Memorial Holiness Camp is an annual family retreat of the Great Lakes Conference of the Brethren in Christ Church. This is a time for families to gather together away from life's busyness to reach the lost for Christ, to renew a right Spirit within and to reconnect with brothers and sisters in Christ.
SAVE THE DATES!!
Adopt a Missionary
A huge part of our heart, for us as a conference. is to get to know our global workers. By getting to know them in a more personal manner, (typically over tea time) we are drawn to them and their ministries. This is usually how God pulls on our heart strings and calls us to pray, encourage, and financially support them as a camp and 1as individuals.
SOOOO..grab some tea and cookies!!!! Some of our global workers have sent us video and others will be participating in our MHC weekend just like you and me! And as you go through the weekend...we ask you to CONNECT with a global worker...actually ADOPT them for our time together....and maybe continue your relationship for years to come.
ADOPT!?!?! What do you mean?Take a minute to meet some of our global workers!!! Consider adopting one of these families during MHConnection by sending them a virtual greeting, donating to their ministry, writing an encouraging note and/or posting a short video on the facebook group page about -MHConnection 2020 why you choose the family., You may also want to prepare a food native to that country and post pictures or a video. Use your imagination. Watch their videos and learn and then share!
We are going on a virtual road trip through the Great Lakes Conference with videos from various churches (we invited them all) showing us a little about their church, community and/or congregation. We want this to be a time to learn more about the GLC body of Christ and hopefully open doors for more interaction between churches. Check it out on the facebook group MHConnection 2020!!
